Record Quarter for New Orders And Opportunities

October 13, 2017 – Norristown, PA – LCR Embedded Systems, Inc. a privately held corporation, reported a record quarter with orders totalling $13 million across all product classes, a manyfold increase over the same quarter in 2016. Business opportunities worth more than $20 million have also been added to the LCR Embedded Systems sales pipeline thanks to new wins with the US Navy, a major Department of Defense research center, and several Tier 1 and Tier 2 defense contractors.

“The future always arrives faster than you think it will,” said LCR Embedded Systems President David Pearson. “And the time to prepare for it is always as soon as possible. We’re very fortunate at LCR in that we’ve assembled one of the best teams in the business, from sales reps that track down top-quality opportunities, to engineers that collaborate with our customers to ensure that their problems stay solved, and production and support staff who live our quality and mission assurance values every day. If you can offer that kind of expertise, experience, creativity, and dedication to your customers, the world will definitely beat a path to your door. We can’t wait to turn these opportunities into reality, and into even greater opportunities in the future.”

Strengthened Commitment to Mission Assurance, Expanded Sales Team

LCR Embedded Systems already boasts multiple quality awards and letters of recognition from its top defense contractor customers and is building even further on this solid foundation of quality and mission assurance with the hire of Director of Quality Janet Lentz and the appointment of Director of Mission Assurance David Freeman. Lentz will be the key point of contact for our customers’ quality teams and managers and will report directly to David Pearson.

Lentz is responsible for the quality team, quality systems, and related processes and is also a certified ANSI/RAB Quality Management Systems Lead Auditor and Professional Leadership Coach. She brings with her profound expertise in quality systems, continuous improvement, coaching, and team management for complex manufacturing organizations operating under rapid turnaround pressures, and her skills will help drive and expand LCR’s commitment to Mission Assurance.

As Director of Mission Assurance, former National Sales Manager David Freeman leads the company’s efforts in providing world-class technology solutions that meet the challenging development schedules and quality metrics of key customers including the Department of Defense and Tier One and Two Defense Primes.

Freeman began working with LCR Embedded Systems in 2004 and currently has 35 years of experience in electromechanical aerospace products. As Eastern Regional Sales Manager, he grew the company’s East Coast customer base significantly in addition to growing relationships with many of LCR Embedded’s largest customers. He has in many ways been the face of LCR Embedded Systems with Tier One and Two defense contractors, national labs and research entities, and government organizations like SOCOM and NAVAIR.

In addition to these new positions, LCR Embedded Systems has also added Western region sales firms Meridian Marketing and West Electronics Solutions to its stable of highly motivated sales representatives.

New Advanced Manufacturing Capabilities

Top companies in aerospace and defense as well as rugged industrial and commercial markets have made 3-D printing and other advanced manufacturing technologies a central part of their strategic planning, and LCR Embedded Systems is pleased to add these capabilities to our portfolio with the acquisition of a Markforged model 3-D printer. With this new capability, LCR Embedded Systems now has the ability to design and create in a variety of reinforced materials and deliver custom solutions with even greater speed, cost effectiveness, and reliability as standard ones.
