Webinar with LCR Embedded Systems
Digital Signal Processing in the Age of Multicore

When: April 19, 2023

Time: 2pm ET

Hosted By: Military & Aerospace Electronics

Sponsored By: LCR Embedded Systems and IEEE Discovery Point for Communications

Digital signal processing is a crucial enabling technology for advanced electronic warfare (EW), signals intelligence (SIGINT), radar surveillance, image processing, electro-optical reconnaissance, and a host of other aerospace and defense applications that involve situational awareness.

Among the chief technologies involved in digital signal processing are high-performance general-purpose processors, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), general-purpose graphics processing units (GPGPUs), and real-time software In addition, high-speed switch fabrics and emerging open-systems standards like SOSA, CMOSS, FACE, and VICTORY are playing central roles.

LCR’s Bill Pilaud and Anthony Reindl will be on hand to discuss critical design considerations for these applications including packaging approaches, protection in extreme environments, I/O design methods for the highest levels of signal integrity and the impact of open standards on system architecture.

Speakers:

Anthony Reindl, Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, LCR Embedded Systems

Bill Pilaud, Director of Systems Architecture, LCR Embedded Systems

Richard Jaenicke, Director of Marketing, Safety, and Security-Critical Products, Green Hills Software
