LCR Embedded Systems brought home 2 Best in Show Awards at the 58th Annual AOC International Symposium & Convention held in Washington DC on November 30 through December 2, 2021.
The AoC3U-1440 and the AoC3U-821 garnered 4-star recognition in the Military Embedded Systems awards program in the Embedded Computers category. Both products are air over conduction cooled rugged systems designed for SOSA aligned VPX VITA 48.2 payloads in demanding defense environments.
The 1440 combines flexibility and enhanced cooling power to systems supporting mission compute requirements and an extensive range of I/O types at high data rates. The chassis features dual parallel 9 slot backplanes for a mix of payload and VITA 62 power modules.
The system was recognized for its reconfigurable backplane and I/O panel supporting a range of mission assignments as well as it’s ability to safely cool up to 850W of aggregate payload power.
The 821 supports 8 payload slots, dual PSU slots and a single drive bay. This full featured chassis is designed for high speed I/O as well as Optical and RF I/O in a range of signal processing applications. LCR custom backplanes and direct connect I/O boards are designed around the module payload necessary customer applications.
The system was recognized for safely cooling up to 700W of aggregate payload power and for the cost saving configurable design featuring modular components for optical and RF cabling, removable drive bays and added cooling.
