December 2012 – LCR Electronics, Inc.*, a leading manufacturer of backplanes and ruggedized integrated chassis, electronic control products, and EMI filters for military, telecommunications and commercial applications, is pleased to announce the opening of our new Systems Integration Design, Development and Test Facility in Ridgeland, Mississippi.
Our new Mississippi facility, headed by Donald Germany, LCR’s Product/Engineering Manager – Systems Integration, is fully staffed with top key Systems Engineers that bring over 70 years of combined Systems Integration experience to our organization. Donald and the staff in this branch, all now employed by LCR, were previously the Diversified Technology, Inc. (DTI) Systems Engineering Group.
The team in the Mississippi office has both software and hardware experience, and is fully capable of taking an LCR ruggedized Chassis and fully integrating it with our partners best-in-class board level products to provide a complete fully populated and tested mission ready chassis solution.
The addition of this strategic capability to our team now allows LCR to offer its customers AdvancedTCA, CompactPCI, VPX and VME integrated Chassis platforms for the Military/Aerospace, commercial and industrial markets. These new capabilities also permit us to better address our customer’s integration needs by supplying application ready platforms.
