Dual Port Media Converter
Rugged embedded computing applications often require connection to 10GBase-T or 1G-Base-T external I/O. This necessitates media conversion for I/O in rugged SOSA aligned VPX chassis. LCR’s dual port converter module converts Base-T signals to embedded backplane signaling such as 1GKX and 10GKR and conversely SERDES interfaces (KR/KX) to 10G/ 1000/100 BASE-T for external chassis I/O.
