Successful Showcase of Rugged VPX, AdvancedTCA, and Other Systems for Use in UAV Applications

For four days in May, experts and other interested parties from all over the world came together in New Orleans, LA to learn about the latest developments in the realm of unmanned vehicles at XPONENTIAL 2016, the flagship event of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International or AUVSI.
The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center on the bank of the Mississippi River housed hundreds of companies and other organizations, all eager to showcase cutting-edge technology for all manner of UAV applications, including military, agricultural, emergency management, and more. Underwater, airborne, and ground mobile vehicles and payloads were all on display, and specialists in all of these areas were eager to answer questions about their wares from curious attendees.
Among those companies was LCR Embedded Systems in Booth #1176, demonstrating live video streaming from our rugged 6U Horizontal AdvancedTCA chassis to our LSF-02 rugged, tactical LTE network. (Populating the chassis were boards from booth partner ADLink Technologies.) Also on display were our rugged 3U VPX ARINC Chassis and our Rugged, Portable Computing System, the RPCS-001.
(Attendees were also able to see our 3U VPX ARINC Chassis up and running at partner company ConnectTech‘s booth.)
