Many may be surprised to learn that Norristown is home to one of the top-ranked designers and manufacturers of high-end electronic equipment to major aerospace and defense contracting companies in the world.

LCR Embedded Systems Inc. is a multimillion-dollar company located on Forest Avenue that is thriving in large part due to its efforts to keep its staff of 61 skilled employees current on the ever-growing technology in the industry.

LCR’s ability to ensure that workers’ skills are matching its expectations is due in no small part to its partnership with an innovative state program called WEDnetPA, which stands for Workforce and Economic Development Network of Pennsylvania.
